Tales is screening on Sat, July 31 at 9 p.m. The show will be followed by Q&A with director, Albert Pyun, writer, Cynthia Curnan and Director of Photography, Phillip Waters.  Please anyone in the nearby area come and join us.  We’d love to see you!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been forced to cancel the TALES premiere at the Hard Rock Hotel during Comic Con. More details will follow within a week.

Many of of you have asked for information and availability dates to purchase the Limited Edition DVD package. While we sold ot of the initial run of DVD packages, there were a 100 or so surplus unexpected copies created by the manufacturing run (those machines don’t stop on a dime I guess). So if any of you are still interested, you need to contact: curnanpictures@gmail.com.

If you really want to secure one then I would do this sooner than later. Even Kevin has requested ten additional DVD packages. Its going to go pretty fast - Albert

One other note, I understand that we are ending pre-orders shortly because we’re almost sold out of the special limited edition DVD package for Tales. I’m not sure if there will be any more made (after all its a “limited” edition) of this particular package. I’m still working with the distributor on exactly how many goodies they are letting me stuff into the limited edition. I’m driving them crazy. But a fan’s gotta have what a fan’s gotta have. I remember when I was a kid and wanted all those cool 007 James Bond merchandise. I really loved that stuff. The standard edition will remain on sale.

Tales of an Ancient Empire Pre-Order Date Set!

News some of you have been wanting for awhile now — the pre-order and release dates for Tales of an Ancient Empire. Pre-orders for the limited Special DVD Collectors Edition can be pre-ordered beginning March 23, 2010. The DVD Collector’s edition will begin shipping April 23 to pre-order purchasers, the same date the film is expected to premiere in select theaters in North America.

We’re still determining the exact bonus material to be included beyond the Tales feature film, but certainly it will include a DVD goodie for “Cyborg” movie fans and the original Tales music soundtrack CD. We’re exploring adding one of my older films, a recut Director’s cut version.

More detailed information will be released a day or two prior to March 23.

I’m realizing more and more how these films really have lives of their own you don’t know exists until the internet connects the filmmaker to the audience.
